We point out that the nearby "Pont du Gard", a unique Roman site, confers additional touristic interest to the visit. In addition Saint Quentin has a bookshop "Tous les Livres de la Terre" (managed by Imagine Ceramique) which specialized in ceramic arts.
Near the medieval town Uzès, between Avignon and Nîmes, the Terra Viva Gallery is set up in an old olive oil mill, some parts of which go back to the 15 th century ! Removated with many contemporary features, this building has become "The House for Clay". It houses the Terra Viva Gallery, the Museum of Mediterranean Pottery, and the exhibits of Saint Quentin's potters.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED ?Between Provence and Languedoc, located in what is known as the "Provençal Gard", the village Saint Quentin la Poterie is the center of a marvellous area which has been called "little "Tuscany"".
LOCATION
Now served by the motorway A9 (exit : Remoulins) and the TGV (very high speed train) by Nîmes or Avignon stations, the area in which the Gallery is located is easy to reach.

Saint Quentin la Poterie has always been devoted to the arts of clay and fire. About twenty years ago it furned toward contemporary ceramics and is now considered a necessary stopping point - "a must" for all who are interested in today's creation in that field.
